Hurricanes are a fact of life in South Florida. After you’ve been through a few you’re a salty expert who knows how to prepare and deal with the storms. Hurricane Irma was no different.
While the media was reporting the worst potential horror stories imaginable of what could occur, the reality is that everything is fine and getting back to normal in just a few days recovery after the storm. Our precious village by the sea, Delray Beach and Palm Beach County had some trees knocked over, branches that weren’t trimmed came loose and some were without electricity for a while. In reality, storms like this bring our community closer together and allow a little extra time to play with friends and families sitting around the TV, drinking the hurricane supply of wine and eating too many sweet and salty foods.
Thank you to all our friends and family that reached out with their concern, but everything is A-OK! We are open for business.
