The Town of South Palm Beach is a beautiful community of 3,000 permanent, and seasonal residents, located in Palm Beach County on a barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Intracoastal Waterway to the west.
South Palm Beach is approximately 5/8th of a mile long, and is bounded by the Town of Palm Beach to the north, and the Town of Lantana to the south. The primary focus of the community is to protect the residential nature of the Town, and to maintain its high quality of life by providing a myriad of services to the citizenry of the Town.
Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Hypoluxo Island, the Town of South Palm Beach was incorporated in 1955. South Palm Beach consists of roughly 3000 residents and is also located on the same barrier island as Manalapan. Like many small communities in Palm Beach County, South Palm Beach has a town council; however instead of a mayor we have a town manager. We have always tried to maintain our tiny town (only 5/8 of mile long) as a primarily residential community. We want to preserve South Palm Beach as a haven for residents and maintain a high quality of life with numerous town programs for our citizens.
The average price of a South Palm Beach home is somewhere in the region of $500,000, but like many other cities in South Palm Beach County there are South Palm Beach homes for sale available in price ranges lower than that, some for under $200,000, as well as those South Palm Beach that sell for several million dollars.
